Supporting You Through Life's Complexities

"Whether navigating change, adversity, or emotional challenges, psychotherapy offers support and guidance, helping you find resilience and meaning in life’s difficult moments."
Psychotherapy
I offer psychotherapy to individuals navigating the kinds of experiences that shape us, whether complex, overwhelming, or quietly life-altering. With a compassionate, evidence-informed approach, I support people in making sense of what’s happened, reconnecting with themselves, and moving forward with greater steadiness and care. Some of the experiences that bring people to therapy include:
Overwhelm and Burnout
When everything feels like too much, it can be hard to think clearly, make decisions, or even breathe. Emotional overwhelm and burnout often show up quietly, through exhaustion, irritability, or a sense of disconnection. Whether you're juggling too many roles, navigating high expectations, or feeling constantly “on,” counselling offers a space to slow down and regroup. Together, we’ll explore what’s contributing to the overload and reconnect with what grounds you. This isn’t about fixing you; it’s about understanding your experience, building coping tools, and creating more space for ease, clarity, and rest in your everyday life.
We’re living in a world that often feels unpredictable and heavy. Climate change, political instability, injustice, and constant bad news can leave you feeling anxious, hopeless, or numb. These aren’t just personal reactions, they’re human ones. If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed by the state of the world, therapy offers a space to process it all without judgment. Together, we can explore how global stressors are impacting your personal world, while reconnecting you to your values, agency, and sense of meaning. You don’t have to carry the weight of it alone; we can navigate it, gently, one step at a time.
Trauma and Life Disruptions
Trauma can take many forms. Sometimes it stems from a single overwhelming event, and other times from a buildup of smaller moments that left you feeling unsafe or unseen. Whether you’re coping with the effects of a traumatic experience, navigating symptoms of PTSD, or still making sense of how the past is showing up in the present, therapy offers a space to slow down, feel supported, and reconnect with yourself. Together, we’ll work at your pace to build safety, process what’s been held inside, and support your capacity to feel more steady, empowered, and present in your life again.
Grief and Loss
Grief can take many forms, such as losing a loved one, the end of a relationship, changes in health, or mourning the life you imagined. It isn’t always about death; sometimes it’s about identity, safety, or the passing of time. As a psychotherapist and social worker, I offer a compassionate space to honour your grief without rushing it. Together, we explore what’s been lost, what still matters, and how to carry your experience with care. Grief isn’t something to fix; it’s something to witness, integrate, and move through with support. However it shows up, your grief deserves time, attention, and tenderness.
Isolation and Disconnection
Feeling disconnected, whether from others, from yourself, or from the world, can be painful and confusing. You might be surrounded by people and still feel alone, or unsure how to reach out after being hurt or let down. Disconnection can come from past experiences, social isolation, or simply moving through a world that doesn’t always feel safe or welcoming. In therapy, we gently explore what makes connection feel difficult and what it might look like to rebuild it. We work together at your pace, and in your own way. You deserve relationships that feel real, and a stronger connection to yourself that feels grounding and true.
Belonging without Conforming
You want to belong, but not at the cost of who you are. Maybe you’ve been navigating spaces where fitting in means staying quiet, masking parts of yourself, or following expectations that don’t align with your values. In therapy, we explore what it means to belong without bending yourself out of shape to be accepted. This is a space to reconnect with your identity, your boundaries, and your truth, especially if they’ve been overlooked or dismissed. Together, we’ll support your right to show up fully, and build relationships where you don’t have to choose between authenticity and connection.
